The Space

A 2,000 sq ft dermatology clinic completed in 2022, perched high in a city high-rise and bathed in abundant natural light. The interiors are a study in minimalism—clean lines, muted tones, and a restrained palette where colour appears only as an accent. Glass, wood, and greenery add warmth, while functional furniture and an open plan keep the space airy and uncluttered. Every surface, from smooth cabinetry to the linear 30 feet long ceiling lights, reinforces the clinic’s calm and ordered atmosphere.

The Ask

Our client—a dermatologist with an appreciation for good design—wanted a space that felt serene, functional, and effortless to maintain. The brief was clear: create a minimalist environment where patients would feel at ease, natural light could flow freely, and every element would have a purpose. The design needed to prioritise functionality for staff while delivering a polished, welcoming experience for patients.

The Result

We planned the clinic layout to maximise daylight, reduce unnecessary movement, and accommodate every functional requirement without visual clutter. The result is a clean, peaceful interior where the interplay of light and simple forms sets the tone for the entire experience. Custom glass artwork with an etched tree adds a subtle focal point at reception while concealing the corridor beyond. Minimalist furniture, smooth finishes, and carefully chosen accents create a space that is as practical as it is elegant—an environment that reflects the client’s philosophy of “less is more,” while supporting the daily rhythms of a modern healthcare practice.
