Our Process
Brief
At the outset of your project the team at Rad Studio will take time to meet with you to understand your requirements in great detail. We understand that undertaking an interior of a new space or renovation can be daunting. We put you at ease and explain the process and how we will work through it together. Your space whether office space or home and it's design are very personal things and it's important at the outset for you to be confident in us and want to work with us. It's a journey we embark on together
Concept
Once we have agreed the final brief the creative process starts. At this point we prepare concept boards and some initial indicative drawings. This is a key phase of the project where we play back your requirements and offer design solutions for your space. There are usually two or three iterations of the Concept and we only proceed to the next phase when you are 100% happy with the Concept design.
Design development
The design development phase is the most involved phase of the design. During this phase you really see your vision come to life. We finalise all the design components including hard surfaces, furniture, bespoke joinery and soft furnishings. We deliver final floor plans, elevations, other images and schedules as required. If you are using your own contractors we gladly work with them and be your consultants or we happily manage the tender process to ensure you have the right team on your project.
Execution & Installation
We provide project coordination services if you want to completely step out of the process and simply walk back in to a completed beautiful space. We work alongside the contractor and manage the procurement of all specified items you have approved ready for delivery and installation. We coordinate post build cleaning and set up the space ready for you and your family. We love to photograph the final look on completion as a record of another rewarding transtormation.
